Calling All Bay Area Ecosattvas!

Posted on May 8, 2021May 8, 2021 by Karin

This summer Bay Area folks from different Buddhist sanghas and traditions are coming together for collective action in support of local efforts to rematriate indigenous lands, Stop Line 3, Rainforest Action Network, Black Lives Matter, and the international call for Land Back, including the The Red Deal. We will be holding a regular meditation and vigil at the West Berkeley Shellmound, decolonizing study group, and other regenerative gatherings (masked, outdoors)- meditations, art builds, etc. We will also be showing up together at actions organized by other groups, such as the recent May 7 Stop Line 3 action in downtown SF, where we enjoyed some time for meditation in the lovely Mother Earth Garden hosted by Code Pink (pictured above). If you are in the Bay Area and would like to keep informed about opportunities to meet up with other ecosattvas, fill out the form below. (A dedicated website to post info about our values, actions, events and collaborations is in the works).
